Wally & Eiden (Reimu / レイム・霊夢)
sometimes spelled 'Raemu' under their novelist pseudonym─ ·・・・・・· ─[Redacted] is a person with DID living in Japan after uprooting their life in [redacted] to start anew. Their old life filled with pain, they lived in a daze from day-to-day trying to make their name as a writer, desperate for a new start. That's until meeting a certain idol in a chance meeting, all starting through a work friend insisting they go with to a live performance.The sights and sounds overwhelming, they felt out of place. The moving bodies and flashing stage lights give them a headache that shifts their surroundings into something distant, almost drowning when the fog machines pool viscous smoke at everyone's feet. [Redacted] brushed off this thought as a delusion from overstimulation and dissociation: they swore the performer with black curls and glasses had locked eyes with them in the crowd, expression flashing confusion at whatever their own reflected back.After the show, [Redacted] reluctantly accepted to take a backstage pass to meet the idols. Gods, they just wanted to go home to their shitty apartment and pass out. Waiting in a long line with too much excitement in the line, they tried to keep to themselves. Their friend led the whole night, so what's just keeping their head down? Except the idols seemed to share some sort of connection that drove them to stare when the two of them reached the front of the line. A few handshakes, and even they themselves participated out of obligation. As if sensing something amiss, the red-head unit mate had impulsively, yet discreetly, sleighhanded an item to [redacted] during the handshake; a cork bottle with no more than a shot glass amount of mysterious liquid with ominous label saying "drink me." [Redacted] lingered on where their hands met, and they found the redhead's eyes too intense.That redhead had said one line letting go of their hand, "If you want a change, trust in our magic. The magic already inside of you."Not really having a strong grasp of personal identity, the two main alters of their system latch onto other people, copying their mannerisms as a way to blend in and survive. They didn't intend to take the ramblings of a weird pop idol as serious. It was absurd as the idea of thinking that idol with that black hair couldn't take his eyes off them. It's a silly daydream to cope being dragged to a social situation they rather would have avoided. Attractive man meeting their eyes or not, it can't be anything more than that! That bottle was left untouched in their apartment until curiosity struck. What if that idol's omen turned out true? Cork popped, bottle chugged with no going back on the decision. At first, nothing seemingly happened. Days, weeks pass, before said work friend made the comment, "You look so different now. What's your new routine?"Nothing had been different. Since they tended to allow their body to be unperceivable to themselves, it prompted a scary action. That day, [Redacted] gazed in the mirror with overwhelming disbelief. Before, their mind would blank out the physical appearance of their body to spare them the trouble of how distressing it looks. That day, Wally realized he had taken the appearance of an idol he had been mirroring to get by in his daily life.Embarrassing daydreams brought to reality, his appearance matching what he never thought could be physically possible without impossible forces at play. As panic set in, their body morphed to match the two of them flooding consciousness at once in a shifting set of features. Light blue to sandy blond, irises turned somewhere between a blue-violet, skin and even realizing their clothes did not fit their shape they way they had remembered. The red-headed idol had given him something that gave them the ability to shapeshift.─ ·・・・・・· ─[This is a work-in-progress and more a summary of how F/Os officially got together with Reimu, whether it was through Wally or Eiden][to-do: Tsumugi's meeting, Zarina's first meet, explaining platonic and familiar yume connections]Zarina came into their lives some time later. After living with Tsumugi a while, Eiden disappeared into the Fog one late night. He doesn't quite recall the details of that night or how much time passed, other than he emerged from it with Zarina in tow. From then on, Zarina came to live with them, althought occasionally vanishing for long periods of time with Eiden, much to Tsumugi's worry.For platonic and familial yumes, Chitose and Nozomi are Wally's friends and they met during idol activity related business parties. Joy is their adoptive sister, in the sense they became friends through video games and Joy adopted them as online family.─ ·・・・・・· ─

Notes: Wally and Eiden's designs in their universe are based off of Eichi and Wataru in-universe, like factive/introjects of those people in-universe (the people behind the sona thinks its funny to incorporate who they are introjected off of in this way, so its for the bit). Reference sheet art TBD, but note that the shapeshifting aspect of a character who is based on someone who is white-indigenous means there are artworks that are pre-solidifcation of the sona's reference sheet. Most art going forward will be adjusted based on if it's Wally or Eiden in front (Wally = blue/silver hair with more semi-formal wear, Eiden = blond with more casual wear; Wally is more attached to Tsumugi and Eiden to Zarina). Earlier arts might feature them with lighter skin than in later arts for this reason.

Putting this quick addendum due to the fact the old Internet Archive link is not working that I held, so allow me to record what evidence of what I originally read and identified with as the term "schrodien":The original term was coined by a Tumblr user called vesicelestial and they state the definition as..."Schrodien [SHRO-dee-in] is an othellic* term describing an individual who has an identity that contradicts or appears to contradict itself at one or more points. This could be for many reasons, such as collecting terms and two or more terms contradicting, intentionally calling yourself two conflicting things for the reason of having conflicting identities, having identities that at first glance appear to be contradictory but actually fit together, and having a nuanced identity that doesn't actually conflict but is incorrectly perceived as conflicting.Schrodien is at its core about the experience of having a "confusing" identity that the user or others perceive as contradictory, whether it is or not."Examples given by the coiner of what would potentially fit under this label, but not exclusively, included..."...lesboys, isogender, traumaendo systems, systems who have conflicting identities due to being present in different headmates, an agender person who also collects genders, an alloaro person who is incorrectly perceived as either alloromantic or asexual, and some forms of alterhumanity."Personal: We/I resonated with this term due to multiple reasons; we are a DID system that also experiences spiritual plurality due to our spiritual practices/beliefs, our sexuality is considered gaybian because bisexual doesn't capture how we feel our bisexuality/multisexuality will never be heterosexual due to being genderfluid and multigendered (and that depending who you ask in our system, they will give you different answers to their sexuality), even if we're transmasculine as intended presentation. * for Othellic, this term doesn't have a clear cut definition for what it means as a modifier. It was coined by a now deactivated user named kenochoric and described a modifier term for identity labels that seem to "flip by a situation," loop, two sides of a coin, feel impossible to explain, or contradict each other. It's often seemed to be used with identity markers that have contradicting, seemingly beyond two dual poles of a spectrum, mirrored, or infinitely malleable interpretations of identity without those identities needing to be inherently othellic.
